Matcha Ice Cream

The colour might take a bit of getting used to, but the taste convinces immediately. And this ice cream is so versatile that you can have a different version for every family member or every day of the week.


1 lime
¾ cup coconut sugar
1 coconut cream (full fat)
SF ½ avocado
SF 1 Tbsp coconut flour (very finely ground coconut)
SF 1 Tbsp matcha powder


Grind the zest of the whole lime with the coconut sugar to a find powder and mix with all remaining ingredients including the juice of half of the lime.
Freeze in an ice cream churner according to machine instructions. Alternatively freeze in an airtight container and stir every 10 minutes with a fork until completely frozen.


Mix in one or more of the following ingredients before freezing or add them onto your ice cream afterwards. You can also grind these nuts and frozen berries and roll your ice cream scoops in them, so that they get a colourful coating. Or roll them in additional matcha powder.
